We are LIL SD, a music duo made up of two longtime friends from Dalarna, Sweden.

We've been making music together since before 2016 and have always experimented with different sounds.

What started as recording vocals over beatboxing on the built-in Voice Memos app on our phones

turned into more and more of an obsession with music.

We discovered our first actual DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) in early 2020 and quickly started experimenting.

Rap, pop, punk, country, rock, metal, house...

You name it, we tried it at least a couple of times.

Ever since we were very young, we always knew our music would get us somewhere.

Maybe next month, maybe in 10 years, but it will surely happen.

In February 2026, we decided to start taking it more seriously.

We committed to being consistent with our craft and started showing the world

what we had been working on for more than half of our lives.

In less than 15 days, we got our first "viral" video:

Hundreds of thousands of views,

thousands of followers,

all on a new account.

That was the confirmation we needed.

We had always known we were going to get big.

We just didn't know when.

But when those numbers started rolling in, we got the final answer we had been looking for.

We weren't going to blow up in 10 years,

it's happening now.

Then, in March, we released our take on the "WYFL Riddim" popular in Jamaica,

a dancehall song in a creole language we had never spoken. (Watch it here)

Within a month, the video was already sitting at 3 million views and counting.

The official duo of "LIL SD" (LIL Swedish Dudes) is still fresh to the scene,

and we are faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from done.

You can expect us not to stop.

Everything else we do is unpredictable.
